Shawn Miskovich, the owner and founder of Linxus Communications, began his adventure into Telecom when he joined the 220th Engineering Installation
Squadron of Air National Guard in the 1993. Throughout his career in the Guard, Shawn was employed as an installer in the private sector as well. Shawn earned more than 13 cabling certification and served on 5 deployments including, Germany, Iraq and Afghanistan with the communication information systems squadron. In 2008, on one of his more recent deployments, Shawn installed a 14 mile fiber ring around Baghdad and was awarded Team Chief of the Year, a National award given by the Guard, for his efforts.

During his time as a private sector employee, Shawn was able to learn the ins and outs of running a business by gaining experience in all facets of telecommunications from estimating, project management, sales and client relations. When he saw the disregard of a client under a former employer, he created his own company in 2006. The result was Linxus Communications. Since that time, Linxus has doubled every year in revenues and brought on clients such as The Cincinnati Bengals, State Auto Insurance and the U.S. National Guard, simply by providing quality installations and superb customer support.

Based out of Columbus, Ohio, Linxus has grown at the perfect rate. We provide the high quality service of a large corporation through our trained and certified staff while maintaining a small business feel with one on one attention to our clients. Linxus employs technicians & executives of the highest standards. To execute the quality of work expected multiple personnel are involved. In the home office, a VP of Operations, Sales and Marketing and RCDD make up the force to support the Technicians in the field. Five team mates have BICSI level certifications with the remaining technicians at or above Level 1 BICSI standards. As a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Shawn has always made an effort to employee veterans. Five of our current technicians served in the military.
